Rt Hon Claire Perry O’Neill MP joined with local people in Wexcombe and Marten near Marlborough, to celebrate the installation of full fibre broadband to the two hamlets comprising 35 homes and properties - including 2 farms and many small businesses.
As the school summer holidays and Parliamentary Recess draw to a close it has been a pleasure to spend much of the last few weeks at home in Wiltshire and to enjoy some wonderful time, in our beautiful surroundings, with family and friends.
Last week was a week of endings and new beginnings. It saw the end of the summer term, for many schools and Parliament, the end of Theresa May’s time as our Prime Minister and the end of my, and many other colleagues’ time as Government Ministers.
As the Conservative leadership race reaches its final stages, and having followed the hustings and contest closely, I am very confident that whichever candidate steps into the role of Prime Minister of our country will be able to move forward in delivering Brexit as well as keeping our economy gr

As the Prime Minister sees out her final few days in office, I have been reflecting on the honour it has been to serve this wonderful country under the dignified and committed leadership of Theresa May.
